Stobart Energy have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Controller to join their growing team based in Widnes, Cheshire. Job Title: Customer Service Controller Location: Widnes, Cheshire Salary: £19,000 per annum + benefits Job Type: Permanent, full-time, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 Reporting to: Customer Services Manager Customer Service Controller - Stobart Group: Stobart Group is an Infrastructure and Support Services business operating in the biomass energy, railway maintenance and aviation sectors as well as having investments in a property and logistics portfolio. Customer Service Controller - What's the Role? To build and maintain customer relationships and act as first point of contact for the customer, ensuring that jobs follow company procedures from start to finish. Customer Service Controller - What will I be responsible for? - Ensure customer take on procedure is adhered to - Ensure all customer consignments are created on Mandata for delivery as per customer requirements in advance of collection taking place - Ensure transport jobs only take place to/from permitted sites - Ensure full and complete details of all jobs are entered including all details required for waste transfer note documentation - Ensure all complete job details are transmitted to Drivers in advance of job taking place - Monitor and escalate by exemption any missing paperwork and seek to resolve any outstanding information - Act as point of contact for customer regarding queries prior to collection/after delivery - Liaise with Drivers regarding on site issues - Enforce company waste transfer note procedures with all third-party hauliers - Ensure any movements of waste material are in accordance with duty care legislation - Ensure all locations are entered correctly on Mandata and any ring-fence updates are completed in a timely manner - To assist with the investigation of late/failed deliveries to provide route cause information to customer and account manager - To assist with the investigation, monitoring and inputting into Mandata any occurrences of waiting times at customer premises and inform account manager - Maintain a watch on customer credit limit and escalate to the Customer Service Team Leader when required - Track customer activities to ensure 'extra costs' e.g. demurrage and others are captured - Provide haulage rates to Stobart Biomass Products as and when required Customer Service Controller - Core Experience & Qualifications: - Six months experience of a similar/Customer Service working environment - Equivalent of five GCSE's grade C or above The successful applicant will be rewarded with a package including company pension scheme and uniform.
