IT SERVICE DESK SPECIALIST 1st and 2nd Line Support Swanscombe Salary: 20,000 - 24,000 Hours: Full Time - Monday - Friday (37.5) Benefits Private Healthcare/ Private Dental/ Pension up to 10% contribution/ Canteen/ Team BBQ/ Flexi hours Interviews are taking place immediately! Netbox Recruitment Ltd is working with an dynamic, forward thinking and highly successful business in Swanscombe. We are seeking an equally dynamic, confident IT Helpdesk specialist; responsible for providing 1st & 2nd line support to 200+ onsite users. Support will include 1st & 2nd line Service Desk support, managing inbound calls, providing desktop/ laptop support, network infrastructure, office automation applications and end user assistance for all assigned applications/ processes supported by the company. This position requires a strong level of customer service, problem solving in a logical, timely and efficient manner. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE IT SERVICE DESK SPECIALIST To provide overall support for IT related issues Installation and maintenance of personal computers, printers, and mobile devices Respect confidentiality of data or text encounter Understanding of the configuration and management of the company network and windows server infrastructure. Assist users in making more effective use of desktop systems and mobile devices whilst investigating complex problem situations to diagnose causes and helping users to recover or continue operations Remain up to date with rapidly changing tech Preform special projects as required Help the service desk team become more efficientTECH REQUIREMENTS: Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10) Microsoft Office Suite Office 365 for email and teams Desktop/ Laptop computer hardware Network tech Strong oral and written communication Strong technical acumen Strong ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers/ vendors On occasion be in the office (outside of hours) when required.
