Job Description:

Skill & Job Requirements * Experience as a multi-skilled field dispatch engineer * Proven experience in repairing multi-function print devices (Will be given a technical interview on this separately and a sound knowledge of the print process and troubleshooting will be required to progress) * L1+ Desk side skills (Will be a technical interview) * Fully conversant in English language both verbal and written * Will be moving MFPs and other heavy equipment as a routine part of the job * Able to drive a Luton sized van * Willing to complete training at evenings and weekends until up to speed with the established team * Willing to complete ongoing training over multiple disciplines * No criminal record which will preclude from Government SC clearance * Resident in the UK for over 5 years (For required clearance) * Proven ability to repair a wide range of I.T equipment Desktop PCs, Laptops, Tablets etc. to COMPONENT level. (N.B if the candidate tells me that the have built their own gaming PC the interview will end right there) * Proven ability to act as hand and feet support for network troubleshooting. Experience with using Putty/Solar winds/HyperTerminal etc. * Form part of the shift/standby rota as and when required or requested by A&O management Desirable * Comptia Server + qualified, Comptia A+ or equivalent * Current vendor certifications in hardware/software maintenance * SC clearance Key responsibilities * Receive and manage incidents, installations and changes through the incident management system and provide real time accurate feedback on progress and completion, return all paperwork on time for contracts where required * Provide problem isolation and resolution, using diagnostic and analytical troubleshooting and liaising with A&O and customer helpdesks where appropriate * To understand current processes and work with management to improve productivity, utilisation and customer satisfaction * Provide an excellent level of customer service that exceeds customer expectations * Understand and adhere to all documented company processes and expectations including customer specific instructions. * Manage and apply the specified level of urgency to escalations and requests for information. * Assess the severity of a situation and business impact, raising management escalations when required * Attend business meetings out of hours as required * Complete all tasks/activities specified by management to be in line with business requirements * Form part of the shift/standby rota as and when required or requested by A&O management * Manage local spares and ensure all systems are updated and accurate * Complete quarterly audits * Complete all online training as requested in the timeframe specified
