Service Director (Service, Microsoft, Azure) A leading IT Solutions provider are looking to hire an experienced Service Director (Service, Microsoft, Azure) to join an expanding team in Bedfordshire. The Service Director (Service, Microsoft, Azure) will be responsible for the effective implementation, hosting, support of new customers into the service. In addition to this, the Service Director (Service, Microsoft, Azure) will be responsible for the successful delivery of cloud-based software services across the division. Key responsibilities for the Service Director (Service, Microsoft, Azure): Board contributor working with and supporting internal functions (Sales, Development, Product and Finance) to ensure strategic directives of the business are met. Work with Service Directors reports (Professional Services, Hosting, Support and Customer Success) to define and implement end to end processes to deliver products, implementation projects, service engagement and effective support. Deep engagement with customer businesses and full understanding of their organisations, motivations and operating contexts to ensure success for both parties. Customer-focused Operations and Service delivery skillset, demonstrating SaaS and Cloud technical expertise to support identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities for both our client services and future revenue potential. Developing leadership-level engagement with customers (including customer site visits, attending Local Authority User Group meetings, Conferences, etc). KPI and Service Measurement; vital to our financial performance as well as integral to product performance/resilience in deployment and future development/enhancement. Drive cost savings and efficiencies opportunities and balance this against positively increasing the level of service provided to customers. Coaching and developing high-performing resources and enhancing our operational capability. Overall health and continuous improvement of our SaaS products and infrastructure. Experience for the Service Director (Service, Microsoft, Azure): A Senior Leader Team (SLT) or Board member with experience of managing a P&L of more than £50 m within a technical solutions environment. A solid background in SaaS and Cloud operations and/or delivery in a leadership role. Demonstrable experience in SaaS and Cloud related environments and technologies such as SaaS vendors, Azure, etc. Professional with an exceptional track record in service delivery, support and consulting. Experience in telephone and onsite support, PaaS & IaaS, cloud, security and applications with a focus on Microsoft cloud offerings. Customer focused with proven ability in developing and managing strong customer engagement and relationships. Able to balance cost and value and be highly motivated to create successful, long term customer relationships. Proven experience of building, managing and motivating senior functional service owners. Strong understanding of information security, cyber security, risk management, system security and the governance and associated controls. Experience of incident management and resolution for customers. Evidence of driving continuous Service Improvement and transformations. Core and proven competency in ISO 27000 Information Security in the Operations environment. High on delivery.
