About the role Reporting to the Director of IT, the Junior Developer will be responsible for the support and development of the firm’s JDE implementation and any associated development of reporting/MI solutions. The post-holder will be expected to write bespoke code that supports the evolving requirements within the business and continuously analyse and improve the ERP system. In addition, the role will also cover MI solutions as the Junior Developer will be expected to collaborate with the IT team and stakeholders internally and externally to develop and document MI reports and data dashboards. Finally, the role will encompass the development and maintenance of the organisation’s Microsoft SQL environments. About you Essential requirements: * Experience in the development of JDE (E1) * Knowledge and experience of one or more standard JDE modules (i.e. Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Advanced Pricing, Sales, Advanced Warehousing, EDI, Transportation, MRP Planning etc.) * Experience of the design and implementation of reports using BI tools (Power BI, QlikView, SSAS, SSRS) * A strong analytical approach to work * Experience with Microsoft’s technology stack and MS SQL Server (2008 onwards) * Experience of the development and maintenance of a large database in a demanding environment * A developed understanding of the latest technologies and desire to increase your own knowledge/stay up to date Preferred requirements: * A related degree (computer science, IT, mathematics) * Formal qualification in BI or databases (e.g. MCSE) Due to the nature of the role and the necessity for cross-department working, training and support, the Junior Developer would benefit greatly from strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
