FRONTEND WEB DEVELOPER | LOCATED NORTH NORWICH | FULL TIME | SALARY NEG DOE We are working in partnership with an exciting and expanding online retail brand who are located towards the north of Norwich. The salary is dependent on skills & experience and offers free, onsite parking and a great working environment. This role is for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Working for this up and coming brand, you’ll assist with the modernisation, optimisation and maintenance of the website, liaising closely with the marketing department to implement new features and drive customer engagement. There will also be the opportunity to develop user interfaces for internal systems and support with other projects and websites. Your day-to-day activities will include (full job description available): Create web assets and pages from wireframes and designs Create marketing and transactional email templates from wireframes and designs Diagnose and fix bugs Device and browser testing Champion agile workflows during development processes Plan and estimate work for sprints Report progress and flag issues during daily stand-ups Develop code to company coding standards Develop code with a focus on security and performance Create prototypes for proof of concept Design & develop user interfaces for internal company systems (warehouse, personalisation, customer services etc) Uphold legal & compliance requirements - GDPR, PCI, accessibility etc Essential skills and experience Working with HTML5, CCS3 and JavaScript (including jQuery) Working within PHP MVC structured websites Using version control software (ideally GIT) to track code changes) A keen interest in emerging web trends and technologies and commitment to continual professional development Please get in touch to find out more.
